• A reminder to all grade 7 and 8 band students that jazz band starts tomorrow morning at 8:00 am and tour band starts tomorrow after school until 4:00 pm. New students are welcome!

• A reminder to students who are going off property at lunch time that the ice on the lakes is not at an appropriate level for walking on.

Congratulations to Sophia  D.  from 6-4 who received a half-mathalon in Knowledgehook this past weekend.  Keep working hard on those extra math questions to hear your name on the announcements!

• Girls’ basketball team will have their first game Weds, Jan 10 at MSMS. All Players must be there at 3:10pm for a 3:30pm start.

• Boys’ basketball team will play their first game today, January 9 at home vs AJ. Game time is 3:30pm. Come cheer on the Lions.

• Grade 8 Nitroball tournament today at 12:25pm.

• Intramural hockey resumes Tuesday, January 23

• Pizza will be ordered Wednesday and sold and delivered Thursday.

• There will be an Emera Oval Skating trip taking place Wednesday, January 31, from 9:15 am to 11:45am. Students will skate from 10am to 11am. Students who do not have skates or helmets can get rentals at the Emera Oval. Permission forms will be passed out this week. Cost to attend the Oval is $7.
