• PINK SHIRT DAY
The Pink Shirt Day movement began in Berwick, Nova Scotia in 2007 when students David Shepherd and Travis Price organized a protest to wear pink in order to support their fellow Grade 9 student who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Now their care and concern is a movement that is celebrated across the globe. Wear your shirt today with pride to support anti-bullying.

• Calling all runners. If you can run 3km you should join the cross country team. Check out Mr. Hulshof’s website and sign up to run on the cross country team. All Sackawa paddlers you should sign up.

• The Terry Fox run will take place Friday, Sept 29 down at the Met Field. You can support Terry’s Dream by donating online or you can bring in a loonie or a toonie to your homeroom teacher.

• Soccer Tryouts:
All students make sure you sign up on Mr. Hulshof’s website. There are google forms you need to fill out.
Male students will have tryouts FRIDAY in the gym OR on the LT field.
from 3:30 - 4:30 depending on field conditions. Athletes must wear sneakers or cleats and shin guards if they have them.
