• Pizza will be sold and delivered today in the cafeteria.

• No more Emera Oval forms will be accepted. A reminder to students to bring your skates and helmet tomorrow to school . Students will be leaving at 11:15am to the Emera Oval.

• Today is the last day to donate to our library fundraiser. There are now two ways to win. A pizza party will be awarded to the class that raises the most money overall. An ice cream party will be awarded to the class that raises the most money per student. (You will need to do some math for this one. Total money raised divided by the number of students in the class). A class can only win one prize, not two. The winner will be announced tomorrow.

• Aquarium Club will take place today after school with Mr. Martin.

• Grade 8 Smashball today in the gym at lunch. New players are welcome. That’s grade 8 smashball at lunch in the gym today.

• Badminton club/tryouts today after school. 3:15pm-4:30pm.

• Pi Day Challenge The symbol for Pi has been in use for over 250 years. Since the exact value of pi can never be calculated, we can never truly find the accurate area or circumference of a circle. We find the approximate value. Our grades 7&8 will be competing next week. Each class will have one winner and that person will receive 2 free Pizza Day lunches! That means for two Thursdays, you will receive one slice of pizza and a juice box for FREE! The person who memorizes the most places after the decimal will win 4 Pizza day lunches! Yum!

• Reminder to textiles students - Ms. Parsons will be offering extra sewing time today at lunch starting at 12:25. If you feel like you will not be able to finish your final project in your last class next week, you should be attending this session to catch up.
