• There is a student leadership meeting in room 205 tomorrow at lunch.  Come after you eat when everyone goes outside.

• Grade 6 band students are reminded that they have a FULL BAND practice and performance tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2:05.  Make sure you remember your instruments.

• It is PRIDE WEEK at Leslie Thomas! Did you know that the first official Pride March in Halifax was held on July 1st, 1988? Only 75 people marched in the first year; in 2019, over 150,000 people attended!

• Today is rainbow day and many students and staff are wearing rainbow colors to show their support of 2SLGBTQIA+. Be sure to buy some treats today at the bake sale happening at lunch!

• Tomorrow, join us in the library to check out the GSA’s selection of 2SLGBTQIA+ books during our Speed-Dating with a Book event!

• LT Citizenship Award
Grade 8 Students who are interested in applying for the LT Citizenship award are reminded to pass in their application to Mme MacIlreith or Mr MacIlreith by the end of the day TODAY.

• Black Excellence Day is Friday, June 17, 2022.Students and staff are invited to wear black T-Shirts to celebrate and stand in unity in support of the success of Black students. Black Excellence Day celebrates Black Achievements, Black stories, Black Art, Black innovations, and Black people and their communities.

• Students who are attending the field trip today with Mrs. Mahaney please go to the cafeteria after attendance, with your teacher’s permission. Don't forget your backpack with your lunch, a snack, and water bottle.

• Grade 8 End of Year Bowling Trip: Permissions forms for next Monday’s trip are due Thursday.

• Grade 6 intramurals at 12:20pm

• Tennis club Tuesday after school, 3:05pm to 4:10pm

• In support of The Welcome Project NS, LT is having a  Donation Drive for Ukranians arriving in Nova Scotia. A list of items we are accepting was emailed home last week. The Donation Box is in the office.

• Pizza will be sold on Thursday.
