• Pi Day Challenge:
Pi is calculated by dividing the circumference of a circle by its diameter. The US Congress passed a Resolution 2009 to celebrate Pi day every year on March 14 (3/14). The exact time for celebration is 1:59 pm so that 3.14159 is used which are the first 5 digits of Pi. Our school competition will happen during your math class on Thursday, March 11th. Each class will have one winner and that person will receive 2 free Pizza Day lunches! That means for two Thursdays, you will receive one slice of pizza and a juice box for FREE! The person who memorizes the most places after the decimal will win 4 Pizza day lunches! Do you accept the challenge?

• No intramural hockey this week. Next game is March 8.

• Boys Basketball game today: SHJH at LT, 3:30pm. Only parents and guardians are allowed in as spectators, 2 spectators per player. We are looking for a scorekeeper and timekeeper for this game (2 students). Please see Mr. Hulshof today.

• Pizza is sold on Thursdays for $5. Money will be collected Wednesday.

• Intramurals 7-1, 7-3

• Could all members of the boys’ basketball team see My Hulshof at the start of lunch.
