• Have you ever wanted to try Curling? Three school visits are planned to Lakeshore Curling Club down at the Sackville Sports Stadium.

Weds, March 6, 1-3pm: Grade 6 Group
Weds, March 27, 1-3pm: Grade 8 Group
Cost is $8. All students must have a certified hockey helmet. Ski or bike helmets are not allowed. Come try out this new activity.
Permission forms will be passed out this week. Only 48 students per grade level can go. Get your forms in first to get a spot. Hurry hard!
Students must pass in both forms to the office.
Grade 6 will get their forms the following week and Grade 8s will get their forms in March.

• A huge congratulations to Ava, Alex, Tony, Elliot and Mathias for their first place win at the annual African Heritage Youth Quiz where they competed against Dartmouth and Cole Harbour schools in a trivia contest.  They had a winning streak of 19 questions in a row and in the preliminary round they scored the 2nd highest score ever scored.  They have a lot more studying to do as they are headed to the finals.  Congratulations!!  Please turn in your shirt to Mme Isert today
