• Student of the Month:
Nominees can be chosen on several criteria: academics (a student who is working to their potential), attitude, athletics, overall school spirit, or someone who improves the quality of life here at Leslie Thomas. Students of the Month exemplify respect for self, others, learning and environment. They work hard to make LT a safe and positive learning environment and they are ambassadors for the school when they participate in field trips, clubs, teams, etc.

• Rugby Tryouts will continue next week in the gym at lunch. Tuesday will be grade 8 students. Wednesday will be grade 6 and 7 students. Tryouts start at 12:25 both days.

• Intramural hockey this Tuesday, Jan 23

• LT Wrestling takes place Weds and Thursday at Sackville High after school.
There is no wrestling Fri at Sackville High this week.

• The nitroball tournament finals take place today at 12:15pm. Centre court only. No other games or practices in the other courts. Spectators are welcome for this 21 point final game. Seating is limited.

• Girls’ basketball practice today from 3:15pm-4:30pm.
Next week girls play Monday, Jan 22 at GPV and Weds, Jan 24 at home vs AJ

• Boys’ basketball play next Tuesday, Jan 23 at MSMS and at home Thursday Jan 25, vs SHJH.

• Wrestling next Monday, Jan 22 at LT from 3:15pm to 4:30pm.

• There will be an Emera Oval Skating trip taking place Wednesday, January 31, from 9:15 am to 11:45am. Students will skate from 10am to 11am. Students who do not have skates or helmets can get rentals at the Emera Oval. Cost to attend the Oval is $7.
