• Friday Exit Song: Who would like to hear a fun (school appropriate) tune to kick off the weekend each week??  There are song request slips in the office for students to fill out if there is a specific song they would like to hear as we all exit the building on Fridays.  Each week a song will be drawn out of the request box and played for the school.  Please remember that songs requested must be school appropriate.  Request slips may only be filled out during non-instructional time.  See Ms. Barnes if you have questions.

• Did you know that feeling grateful helps us feel more positive and improves our health and our ability to deal with tough things? This time of year, sometimes feel pressure to think about what we WANT, instead of what we HAVE. Each day in December, check out the wall at the top of the stair for the Gratitude Challenge!

• Congratulations to Brennan Anderson and Mark Alekseev for being full Mathalon winners.

• Aquarium Club will take place with Mr. Martin this Friday after school.

• A reminder to all band students that we have our Winter Concert tonight at LT. Please be in the band room this evening no later than 6:00.

• GSA meets today at lunch in the Library.  The GSA is for all those who identify within the 2SLGBTQ+ community.  New members, friends and allies are always welcome to come.  Please bring your lunch and come meet some new people!

• Does doing random acts of kindness make you feel good? Would you like to meet people who like to do the same? Are you interested in bringing extra kindness to our school?  If this sounds like you, add your name to the sign-up sheet outside the Counselling Office and let’s spread KINDNESS

• The next intramural hockey date is Tuesday, Dec 5.

• All basketball players please sign up for tryouts on Mr. Hulshof’s website.
Boys’ basketball tryouts will be next Thursday, Dec 7 and Friday, Dec 8
Girls’ basketball tryouts will be next Wednesday, Dec 6 from 3:15-4:30pm.

Please do not go in the gym until 12:25 to get equipment.

• LT Students make sure you return all the equipment to the gymnasium when you borrow it, do not leave it out in the parking lot.

• There will be a holiday skate Monday, Dec 18 from 11 to 12pm, cost is a toonie. You can pay through school cash online. All skaters must have skates and a hockey helmet, bike helmets are not allowed.

• Pizza will be ordered tomorrow and sold and delivered on Thursday. This is a new pizza order for December, make sure your parents or guardians have paid for December.

• There will be a debate club meeting at 12:10 in Madame Nelson’s room (302) this Thursday. Bring your lunch and something to write with–newcomers are welcome.
