• November 13-19  is Transgender Awareness Week. The most common transgender flag design is the flag with pink, white, and blue stripes. It is a symbol of transgender pride, diversity, and transgender rights. The stripes at the top and bottom are light blue, the traditional masculine colour. The stripes next to them are pink, the traditional feminine colour. The stripe in the middle is white for those who are transitioning or consider themselves to have a neutral or undefined gender.

• A reminder to band students that there is tour band rehearsal today after school until 4:00 pm.

• There will be boys’ volleyball practice tomorrow after-school until 5pm.  Practice at lunch today is cancelled due to a presentation in the gym.

• Pizza will be ordered today, teachers please send a runner down to get your pizza collection bag and return it to the office asap. Pizza will be sold and delivered Thursday.

• Junior Hockey officiating clinic will be held tomorrow after school, 3:15 to 4:30pm. See Mr. Hulshof if you are interested. Meet outside the gymnasium at 3:15pm.

• No intramurals today due to a school presentation.

• Reminder to all hockey players to pay your intramural hockey fees, the hockey program starts Tuesday, Nov 28.

• Girls’ volleyball game today at  home vs GPV. Looking for 2 boys on the volleyball team to do the scorekeeping. Please see Mr Hulshof

• Debate club meeting tomorrow in room 302 (Madame Nelson’s room) at 12:10. Bring your lunch and something to write with. Newcomers are welcome.
