• Reminder to all students that cell phone use during instructional time is not permitted.  Cell phones should be stored in lockers and put on silent mode or turned off.  Cell phones can only be used during lunch hour. 

• Our first LT Dance of the year is taking place this Thursday. The dance is for LT students and is scheduled for 6:30 to 8:00. Tickets can be purchased online and the cost is $8.

• Mr. Martin’s extraordinary chess club will take place this Wednesday at lunch in room 202. New and experienced players are welcome.

• Grade sixes will eat in the cafeteria this week.

• Knowlegehook Mathalon Winners
Congratulations to Kenley Fraussell of 8-4 who received a half mathalon in Knowledgehook this weekend. She completed 125 stars and will get her certificate in class.
Also, congratulations goes to Mathias Aladejebi of 7-5 who completed both a half mathalon on Thursday and a full mathalon yesterday by receiving 250. He will get his certificates and medal in class.

• There will be a Boys’ Volleyball Team tryout for grade 7 boys only at lunch today and grade 6 boys only at lunch tomorrow.  Come to the gym when everyone goes outside.
There will be Boys’ Volleyball Team Tryouts tomorrow and Thursday after-school in the gym from 3:10pm - 5pm.

• Boys and girls’ soccer teams please hand in your jerseys to Mr. Hulshof ASAP. No need to wash them.

• Girls’ volleyball practice today and Wednesday 3:15-4:30pm.

• No intramurals this week due to volleyball tryouts.

• There will be a short meeting today for any students interested in singing for the Remembrance Day Ceremony. Please meet in the band room at the beginning of lunch.

• Pizza ordered Wednesday and sold and delivered  on Thursday.

• There will be a debate club meeting tomorrow–Tuesday–at lunch in Mme. Isert’s room–205. The meeting will begin at the start of the lunch hour, so please bring your lunch with you. Newcomers are welcome…come along and see what debating is all about!
