• Do you like expressing your opinions online? Enjoy arguing with people on social media? Wanna try it IRL? Then consider joining the Leslie Thomas debate club. The first meeting will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12:35 in room 306. All are welcome.

• Gaga ball tournament will resume today, and the finals will be Monday or Tuesday.

• Cross country tryout/run will take place Tuesday, at lunch, 12:25-1pm.

• Next Soccer game for both teams will take place today at GPV. Girls play at 3:30pm, boys at 4:40pm. Girls you must be at GPV by 3:10pm, please make sure you have a drive. If you are getting dismissed early, you must let the office know by handing in a note from home or have your parents/guardians call the office.

• Girls’ volleyball club will start this week, Tuesday from 3:15 to 4:15pm, and Thursday from 3:30pm to 5pm. Girls’ volleyball tryouts will start next week. Only girls who can play the full season should try out. Do not try out if you plan on quitting or cannot commit to games and practices.

• Pizza will be ordered on Wednesday and sold on Thursday. $5 for a slice and a drink.

• The Terry Fox run will take place Friday, Sept 29 down at the Met Field. You can support Terry’s Dream by donating online or you can bring in a loonie or a toonie to your homeroom teacher.
