• Pi Day Challenge
Math teachers were very impressed with all the students who competed in the Pi Day Challenge today. It is not an easy Challenge and we applaud all who tried. Over 1812 numbers were memorized by students competing to see who would be victorious. Honorable mentions goes to David in 7-3, Eleanor 7-4 and Emma 8-5. To the Grade 6’s, start your work now for next year’s competition. The grade 7’s have already made a good start for next year’s competition when you are in grade 8.
The class winners were: 7-1 Sydney, 7-2 Taylen, 7-3 Pheobe, 7-4 Tony, 8-1 Jacob, 8-2 James, 8-3 Riley, 8-4 Jake, 8-5 Sunny. The school winner who memorized 222 places after the decimal was Jess from 8-4. Congratulations and you will receive your pizza lunches after March Break.

• Intramural hockey will resume the first Tuesday after March Break. March 21.

• There are still basketball players who have not handed in their jerseys, please hand yours in today as you will be charged $50,

• Badminton tryouts today at lunch from 12:25 to 1pm. No grade 7, 8 intramurals. They will also take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after March Break
