📚 No School Tomorrow
A reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Friday, September 25, as it is a Professional Development Day for staff.
Students will return to school on Monday, September 28. Enjoy the long weekend!
🧡 Orange Shirt Pin-Making Workshop
Today is the second day of Kaylyn’s Orange Shirt pin-making workshop at lunch in the Indigenous Support Room. Stop by to make your own Orange Shirt pin for Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
🏐 Boys Volleyball Skills Training
There is an open boys volleyball skills training session today at lunch in the gym for anyone interested in trying out for the LT Boys Volleyball team.
🌱 Gardening Club
Students interested in joining the Gardening Club this year are asked to come to a brief meeting at the beginning of lunch today in Mr. Richards’ Room 102.
🍕 Pizza Thursday
Students who have paid for pizza can come to the cafeteria for a slice and a drink. Additional slices may be purchased for $5.
Please wait until your grade level is called before coming down to the cafeteria.
⚽ Boys Soccer Practice
Boys soccer practice will be held today from 3:15–4:30 pm at the LT Field.
⚽ Girls Soccer Practice
Girls soccer practice will be held today after school from 3:30–4:30 pm on the Met Field.
🏀 Phys Ed Equipment Reminder
All Phys Ed equipment must be signed out before it is borrowed and returned when you are finished. Equipment must be signed out by a teacher or member of the gym crew.
Students who do not return borrowed equipment will no longer be permitted to sign out equipment.
🦊 Terry Fox Run – Friday, October 2
The LT Terry Fox Run will take place on Friday, October 2 at the Met Field. Students are encouraged to bring in a loonie or toonie to help support Terry’s Dream.
Did you know? During the Marathon of Hope, Terry would wake up at 4:00 am and begin running by 5:00 am.
