Students, the weather is getting colder. Please dress appropriately for being outside at lunch.

🧼 Lunch Cleanliness Reminder
Please clean up after yourselves at lunch.
Do not throw food or garbage around the cafeteria, classrooms, or hallways.
Use the garbage and recycling bins.
Take pride in your school and do not leave a mess for Mr. Roy to clean up behind you.

🌎 Garbage Around School Grounds
There has been an increase in litter on school grounds and throughout the community, especially on the paths around the skatepark and through the Met field areas.
Teachers, please speak to your students about the importance of keeping litter off the ground.
• Some materials, like plastic, take hundreds of years to break down and release harmful chemicals as they do
• Litter can attract rodents and is harmful to pets and wildlife
Let us be proactive at Leslie Thomas and put garbage in its place - in the trash can!

Bubble Guppies assemble!
Mr. Martin’s Aquarium Club will take place today after school.

🏀 Boys Basketball
The final boys basketball team list is posted outside the gym.
Boys will have a mandatory meeting at 12:10 pm with Ms. Killen to get their forms that must be filled out by Monday.
Fees must also be paid by Monday.
The boys will play their first game Monday at Sackville High at 4:30 pm.

The girls basketball team list will be posted on Monday.
There will be a girls basketball practice on Tuesday and an exhibition game at Sackville High on Wednesday at 3:30 pm.

⛸️ Holiday Skate Reminder
Holiday Skate will take place Friday, December 19 from 9:40 to 11:20 at the Sackville Arena.
- Cost is $2 and can be paid through SchoolCash Online
- Teachers, please send a runner to the office to get your permission forms
- Students, hand in your completed forms to the office
- A CSA approved hockey helmet must be worn
- No bike or ski helmets are allowed
- There are 10 helmets available for students who do not have one
- Please see Mr. Hulshof to reserve your helmet
