🦁 Future Lions Orientation Day
Calling all future leaders. Any students in Grades 6 to 8 who would like to help with our Grade 6 Orientation Day on June 11 are invited to come to the School Counsellor’s Office on Tuesday, May 26 at 12:25 pm. Help welcome next year’s Future Lions and show them what LT is all about.

🗑️ Clean Up Reminder
Students, this needs to be said clearly. The amount of garbage on our school grounds is unacceptable. Community members are complaining and have filled multiple bags cleaning up after LT students who are littering. That is not okay. School lunch containers must stay inside. Do not take them outside. Use the garbage and recycling bins every time. Please take pride in your school.

🚫 Vaping Reminder
Vaping and smoking are not allowed anywhere on school property, inside or outside the building. This is not just a school rule, it is the law. If a student is caught vaping or with a vape, it will be confiscated, parents or guardians will be contacted to pick it up, and students will face suspension. Make a smart choice 😉

🚷 Hallway Reminder
Grade 7 and 8 students must stay out of the Grade 6 hallway. Enter the gym through the front lobby. If you are in the gym, use the upstairs or downstairs washrooms only. The second floor washroom is for Grade 6. At lunch, use the front stairs to go to the cafeteria. Mr. Miller and Ms. Chisholm will be there to help direct you.

🏆 Grade 8 Citizenship Award
Leslie Thomas wants to recognize outstanding citizenship at our year end awards ceremony. Grade 8 students are invited to apply for the Grade 8 Citizenship Award. Applications are available from Mr. or Mme Mac and must be returned by Monday, May 25.

🚣 Rowing Trip
Any forms for the Rowing Trip should be turned in to Mrs. Archibald or Mme. Edwards. Please bring $10 to cover the cost of the trip. We currently have 17 registered participants and only 24 spots are available. Don’t miss out.

🥎 Girls Softball
Girls softball meeting at the start of lunch. You must pick up your permission form to be handed in by Monday.
