🥧 Pi Day Challenge
Did you know that some people believe the pyramids of Giza in Egypt were built using the mathematical principles of Pi?
The height of the pyramid compared to the base has a similar relationship to a circle’s radius and circumference.
Next week, our Grade 7 and 8 classes will compete during math class to see who can memorize the most digits of Pi.
• Each class will have one winner
• Each winner receives 2 free Pizza Day lunches
• The student who memorizes the most digits overall will win 4 Pizza Day lunches
Start practicing… will you be the Pi champion?

If you did not pre-pay online, please bring $5 cash for a slice of pepperoni pizza and a drink.

Jerseys must be returned by Wednesday or a $100 replacement charge will be applied.

Students are not allowed in the pit until the snow is gone and it reopens in the spring.
