Youth Leadership Information Night

Dear LT Families,

School Counsellor Blakeney and I have been asked to share the following information from the Youth Leadership Coordinator at the Sackville Sports Stadium. This is an excellent opportunity for our students to develop lifelong skills. Here is the information:

My name is Natalie and I’m the Youth Leadership Coordinator at the Sackville Sports Stadium. I'm reaching out to promote Halifax Recreation's Youth Leadership program. Youth Leadership is a summer-long for youth aged 13+ who want to develop their leadership skills through interactive modules, community volunteer opportunities, and social events. In past years, youth leaders have come from schools across Sackville, including Leslie Thomas Junior High.

On Tuesday, June 4th and Thursday, June 8th, I will be hosting an information night at the Sackville Sports Stadium for interested youth (and their parents/guardians) to learn more about Youth Leadership. To register for one of the sessions, youth/parents/guardians can use the course codes below to register online at MyRec, by phone at 902-869-4141, or in-person at the front desk of the Sackville Sports Stadium.
