Art Club

When: Mondays at 12:25 pm
Where: Room 203
Staff Lead: Mrs. Mahaney
Who: Indigenous students and anyone interested in Indigenous culture and art
What We Do:
• Create projects such as beaded ornaments
• Learn traditional art techniques
• Space limited to the first 20 students

GSA – Gender Sexuality Alliance

When: Tuesdays at lunch
Where: Library
Staff Lead: Ms. Parker
Who: LGBTQIA+ students and allies
What We Do:
• Celebrate diversity and self expression
• Create safe, inclusive spaces
• Special meetings during observance days

Cribbage Club

When: Fridays at noon
Where: Room 303
Staff Leads: Mme. and Mr. Mac
Who: Anyone who wants to learn or play cribbage
What We Do:
• Learn the game
• Play friendly matches
• Challenge the teachers!

Headstrong

Starts: January
When: Lunch (day TBA)
Who: Grade 7 students who sign up
What We Do:
• Focus on mental health and wellbeing
• Plan school initiatives to promote positivity
• Attend the Headstrong Summit at Spectacle Lake on January 13
– A full day with guest speakers
– Experiential learning
– Reflection and leadership development
– Programming designed to foster personal growth with likeminded peers

Mr. Martin’s World-Famous Chess Club

When: Wednesdays at 12:25 pm
Where: Room 202
Staff Lead: Mr. Martin
Who: All students welcome
What We Do:
• Learn strategies
• Play matches and mini tournaments
• Build logic and confidence

Aquarium Club

When: Fridays after school
Where: Room 202
Who: Students interested in aquatic habitats
What We Do:
• Care for aquariums
• Learn about fish and environments
• Help with tank maintenance

Leslie Thomas Wrestling

Season: October to March
When: Mondays from 3:15 to 5:00 pm
Where: Gym
Who: Beginner friendly!
What We Do:
• Learn wrestling skills
• Build strength and coordination
• Work toward tournaments

Intramurals

Grade 7 and Grade 8 Nitroball

When: Tuesdays and Wednesdays at lunch
Where: Gym
