Please take a few moments to review the important updates below regarding Field Day, our Student Success Celebration, and upcoming end of year dates.
Field Day Postponed
Due to the forecast for rain tomorrow, our LTJH Field Day has been postponed to Thursday, June 25.
Students should come prepared to enjoy a fun day outdoors. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor activities. As several water activities are planned, students may wish to bring a towel and a change of clothes.
Students are encouraged to bring a filled water bottle, a hat, sunscreen, and anything else they may need to be comfortable while spending a good portion of the day outside.
Thursday will remain a regular pizza day. In addition, hot dogs will be provided for lunch. Regular, halal, and vegetarian hot dog options will be available for students.
Student Success Celebration
On Friday, June 26, we will hold our Student Success Celebration Assembly. The entire student body will be in attendance.
Parents and guardians of students receiving the following awards have already been contacted directly and invited to attend the ceremony:
- Student of the Year
- Principal's Award
- Vice Principal's Award
- Citizenship Award
- Athletes of the Year
- Heather Bernier Award
- French Immersion Award
- Sport Nova Scotia Awards
Students receiving subject awards will also be recognized during the assembly.
Term 3 Honour Roll certificates will not be presented during Friday's assembly. Honour Roll certificates will be distributed on Tuesday, June 30 once final grades have been completed.
Due to limited seating, attendance is limited to invited families.

There are no classes for students.

Last Day of School
Report cards will be emailed to families on the morning of Tuesday, June 30. Term 3 Honour Roll certificates will be sent home with students that day.
Students will be dismissed at 11:10 a.m. School buses will arrive approximately four hours earlier than their regular afternoon pickup time, at approximately 11:20 a.m.
If your child will be absent on the last day of school, please report their absence using SafeArrival before 9:40 a.m. This helps us ensure student safety and reduces the number of attendance calls that need to be made.
If you know your child will not be attending on the last day of school, please remind them to empty their locker and take home all personal belongings before the Assessment and Evaluation Day on Monday, June 29. Any unclaimed items remaining after the school year ends will be donated.
School Supply Lists
School supply lists for the 2026-2027 school year will be posted on the LTJH website by the end of the day on Tuesday, June 30.
